I have been working my way through Elana's roasted chicken recipes, and my family has enjoyed all of them so far. Agave lime is my daughter's favorite. I made it two weeks ago, using maple syrup instead of agave, and she couldn't tell the difference.

Last night, I made the roasted chicken with olives and prunes. I made it according to the recipe, except that I subbed maple syrup for the agave, and I used 2 cloves of garlic instead of one because... well, because I just don't know how to stop at one clove of garlic, LOL! My husband said it is his favorite! It might be mine, as well. :)

Hi Debra,

I've been purchasing my olives from Whole Foods lately.

If you are looking for the cleanest olives you can find, I would try some raw ones. Here's a link to some products I've purchased in the past. They're really expensive, really clean and really good.

Hope this helps!

Elana

Hello, All,

I am wondering if anyone can recommend a brand of olives that does not contain mannitol, sorbitol, or xylitol.

Elana -- I noticed you said you eat a lot of olives. Which brand(s) do you recommend?

Thanks in advance,

Debra
