I tried the grain free granola and I liked the texture of it. I couldn't get it to be crunchy enough, though so I baked it again and almost burned it. It's been about 2-3 months that I've been gluten free and over a month that I've been grain free. I think maybe the raisins didn't agree with me. I think it's a great idea to use raisins as the sticky base, but maybe my system just isn't ready for it?

I've never had problems with raisins before, or with many of the foods that I'm reacting to now. I wonder if making the granola with a honey or agave base would work? Maybe some butter? I'd like to find an alternative.

The children either have a muffin or yogurt for breakfast and they are getting a little bored. I need some quick easy recipes for the morning. They don't care for eggs in and of themselves, but will eat them in other foods.

Thanks for any suggestions.

Blessings,
Betty
