    Is there really 2 tsp in the recipe? I found it a touch too salty, but delicious none the less! :)

    I find the original recipe a bit too salty for my taste as well. I use half the amount of salt. I've also substituted shredded or chopped apple in place of the carrot for an apple spice cake for when my kids got tired of carrot.

    I found it a bit too salty as well even when I masked it with a Tofutti cream cheese frosting. I've been baking for years and I'm pretty sure that is a typo. Definitely should be less than 1 tsp.
