Help. I had a go at the pastry and it all went a bit wrong. I used ground almonds and everything else as per the recipe but it came out very soft and started burning before it was fully cooked. Any ideas?

Hmmm... which pastry are you referring to? Also, what brand of blanched almond flour did you use?
