    I would like to know if anyone can recommend a good food processor. I am concerned about the BPA used in most of them, so I have shyed away from buying one.

    I'm not familiar with the research into BPA's but this might help you pick out one:

    apparently vita-mix blenders are quite powerful (my neighbour has one)
