I made the chocolate chip cookie recipe exactly, even weighed my ingredients and the cookies came out horrible. They were really greasy and runny, not edible. Did anyone else have this problem? How to fix?

Hmmm... that's odd. I make these cookies all the time and they always come out great.

What ingredients (brand of almond flour, etc.) did you use?

Also, how are you measuring the flour? There's a great forum post on measuring flour here:

I have had the same thing happen with Elana's chocolate chip cookies and the star cookies. very flat and greasy. I was going to try to pack my almond flour a little more or reduce amount of oil.

Jessica - All my ingredients are Elana's recommendations. I measure the almond flour by weight. The breads/scones come out fine but not cookies.

Kimberly- Yes I pack down the almond flour and weigh it. I did reduce oil and used half agave and half evap cane sugar and they came out better. Maybe it's grapeseed oil, I made Betty Crocker brownie mix (for other people) and used grapeseed instead of veg oil and they came out undone and greasy-ish also.

Okay, then, it wasn't just me. My cookies tasted great, but were saturated with oil - way too soggy.
