Adapted from recipe by Elaine Gottschall Breaking the Vicious Cycle
1 cup Peanut butter or Almond butter (I use half of each as we transition off peanut butter)
1/2 cup honey
1 egg
1/2 tsp baking soda
Mix well. Butter 8x8 glass baking dish. Bake 350 for 25 - 30 minutes. Be careful not to burn your fingers or your mouth when eating the first hot one out of the oven. Try not to eat more that 4 per day. If you plan to share these, you might want to double the recipe and use a 9 x 13 baking dish. They are a great source of healthy fat and protein, and contain no starch.
