Does anyone know of a source for organic almond flour that hasn't been cross-contaminated with peanuts?

I thought I'd be able to purchase almond flour directly from an organic farmer who would have a country store on site, but it seems most only sell the nuts. Although I can find organic almond flour, I wonder if a middleman has purchased the almonds and milled them in a facility that has also done peanuts. I've emailed some of these middlemen, but haven't gotten any responses. I'm guessing they don't know where their product has been. Since I'm new at this, I'm wondering if anyone has a source I just haven't uncovered yet.

    Hi,
I am looking for the same thing, my son is allergic to peanuts and would like to bake with this but am afraid of cross contamination. Have you found anything out since your post?
    Thanks!

Try Honeyvillegrain.com. I don't know if it is organic or not but I know someone posted about one size being uncontaminated. I don't remember if it was gluten or a nut allergy. They called the customer service number and got the answer. Can't hurt to ask anyway. HTH

I don't know if you have already found an answer to your question, but I came across the following information on the websites of two of the almond flour suppliers that Elana recommends:

"FAQ: I`m worried about cross contamination.
Answer: We process only almonds, so there is no risk of cross contamination from other nuts or allergens."

    and

"Processed in a facility that DOES NOT process Grains, Dairy, Peanuts or Soy"

    Best wishes!
