PURE brand bars are really good (made in Michigan) as are the Lara bars. If you want something to make, then try out some different GF muffins. There are a LOT of recipes out there now that you can search for.

I have a granola that can be made with GF oats and it is my most favorite breakfast of all. But I can do oats and some can't, or won't, since it is so hard to know their origin.

zebe912, I sub a mixture of Quinoa flakes and Millet flakes (sometimes buckwheat flakes) instead of oats in my granola recipe, they work very well, for those tha cannot handle oats or can not obtain certified GF oats :)

I have quinoa flakes, and should use them nutritionally, but I just don't like the flavor. I want to try finding/making puffed amaranth sometime, though. But those are good suggestions.

    My favorite granola/granola bar recipes:

Granola, this works fine subbing sucanat for the brown sugar. You could sub the oats as noted above:

Granola Bars: this recipe is VERY flexible. You can use whatever you want for the dry ingredients (puffed rice, oats, quinoa flakes, nuts, etc.) and you can sub a nut butter or coconut oil for the butter if you want. I don't bother with the brown sugar either.

almost every morning i have elana's simple bread (i also add 1/2 cup grapseed oil when making, i find the bread to dry to swallow otherwise) i toast it and spread it with butter and homemade or natural jam and a cup of hot chocolate made with 1 tsp organic cocoa, 2 tsp agave nectar and almond milk (homemade).. keeps me going for hours. Hope this helps
