I am fairly new to this site, and wondered what people's favorite recipes are, the ones that are so yummy that they make them over and over. My favorites (thus far) are: Cinnamon Bun Muffins, Pecan Shortbread Cookies, Chocolate Chip Cookies and Vanilla Cupcakes with Chocolate Frosting (the frosting is to die for!). I have yet to try many of Elana's recipes, but these are definitely 'keepers'! I especially like how she combines coconut flour with almond flour in the cinnamon bun muffin recipe, gives it a really nice texture.

Just baked the sandwich bread. Cooling in the pans now, so we'll see how the family reacts. The pumpkin pie muffins went over well with 3 of us. Trying the carrot cake next. Daughter wants the marshmallow icing instead of the coconut. We'll see!! Substituting honey for agave.

My favorite recipe is the breakfast bars. You can add any nut, seed or dried fruit to this recipe. I substitute honey for agave and use slightly less. They are a hit.

I also make the bread 2.0 regularly. I don't bake alot of the dessert recipes as I avoid sugar and too much fat but everything I have tried has been really great.

I love the Power Bars and always have a stack in the frig. I like them cold with a cup of hot tea to start off the morning. A few days ago I made another batch and replaced the flax meal with finely ground pecans and a dash of cinnamon. Still just a yummy. The chocolate used to crack when slicing so I pre-slice them before they have a chance to cool too much.
Also like the Cranberry Walnut Bread. One of the posters on that recipe suggested lining the pan with slivered almonds and replacing the walnuts with pecans. Excellent suggestion and very tasty. Freezing the cranberries keeps them in the batter so they don't all float to the top.
