Last year, I took some of my Christmas money and loaned it through Kiva to 6 entrepreneurs around the world. Each loan has been paid back as scheduled, and I have reloaned the money several times. I can't tell you how heartwarming it is to make more loans later in the year. The money is not just spent. It comes back. Kiva loans are gifts that keep on giving.
