I’ve had so much fun over the last few weeks making various Thanksgiving dishes and dinners for my family –we’ve had several mini-Thanksgiving celebrations to date in preparation for the below menu. So, as you can imagine, the following are my favorites. I have compiled these gluten free dishes into one big, healthy, delicious Thanksgiving menu. I hope you all enjoy these dishes as much as we have. Happy Thanksgiving!
-Rosemary Crackers and Goat Cheese
-Mashed Cauliflower
-Chestnuts and Brussel Sprouts
-Kale with Cranberries
-Herb Gravy
-Cranberry Sauce
-Cranberry Apple Stuffing
-Balsamic Roasted Turkey
-Biscuits
-Tart and Tangy Cranberry Bars
-Pumpkin Custard
I want to point out to all you CrossFitters and Paleo people that just about all of the recipes above are CrossFit and Paleo friendly. Regardless of the eating plan that you follow, what will you be making this Thanksgiving? What is your favorite T-day dish? Mine was, and probably always will be (even though I do not partake in it anymore) my Mom’s baked sweet potatoes with pineapple and marshmallows on top.
The winners of last weeks giveaway for a variety pack of soups, broths, matés and teas from Pacific Foods are AnneKD and Alice Davis! Don’t forget about Monday’s giveaway for a 5lb bag of almond flour from Honeyville. Also, the Vitamix giveaway is almost over! I will announce the winner of the Vitamix winner on Friday, November 19, 2010.
