My mother and father will be spending Passover with us and I am really looking forward to it. Mom and I will be in the kitchen all day today preparing for our gluten free Seder –she has celiac too, as do my older son, sister and mother-in-law. Gluten free is a family affair for us.
Here’s what we’ll be making for Passover 2010. Pretty much my standard Passover Seder menu.
It’s great to be back home surrounded by family after last week’s media events up in the mountains. I had a fun book signing at The Bookworm in Edwards, Colorado (proceeds were donated to the fabulous Gore Range Science School) and I was also on TV8 Vail for a whopping 15 minutes (may I please bore you?).
This morning I had a radio interview about my book with Lisa Davis on the It’s Your Health program which was great fun. If you haven’t seen my book, The Gluten-Free Almond Flour Cookbook, you can buy it at most local book stores or take a look on Amazon.com where it sells for only $11.55.
Also this month I wrote an article called “Almond Flour: the New Superfood?” for Shape magazine. If you have a chance, check it out, my recipes for Chicken and Dumpling Soup with Red Peppers and Spinach, Asparagus and Goat Cheese Pizza and Pancakes with Blueberry-Peach Sauce are included. Shape.com also featured my Walnut Rosemary Cookies from The Gluten-Free Almond Flour Cookbook in their Healthy Eating section.
Happy Gluten-Free Passover to all!
