Substitutions

Dear Friends,
I often receive questions about substitutions. We all have different dietary needs which necessitate altering my recipes. I love hearing your ideas and reading about your creative solutions. However, each recipe I post is repeatedly tested before it is published--even if I tweak something as small as a ¼ teaspoon of salt, I redo it--you can imagine how quickly I'd run out of time if I tested all the substitution questions that come my way.
When I'm not hard at work in the kitchen, I'm spending time with my family--the balancing act every working mother tries to achieve, so I hope you'll understand that I do not provide individual answers to questions or requests for substitutions.
