Substitutions

Dear Friends,
I often receive questions about substitutions. We all have different dietary needs which necessitate altering my recipes. I love hearing your ideas and reading about your creative solutions. However, each recipe I post is repeatedly tested before it is published –even if I tweak something as small as a ¼ teaspoon of salt, I redo it –you can imagine how quickly I’d run out of time if I tested all the substitution questions that come my way.
When I’m not hard at work in the kitchen, I’m spending time with my family –the balancing act every working mother tries to achieve, so I hope you’ll understand that I do not provide individual answers to questions or requests for substitutions.
I hope you’ll enjoy sharing your experiments together in our online community via comments.
Thanks,
Elana
