Paleo Breakfast Bread makes a great grain free treat for brunch or a quick breakfast on rushed weekday mornings.

Have you seen Hallie Klecker’s new book The Pure Kitchen?
This cookbook is a lovely collection of healthy gluten free, dairy free recipes. I absolutely love the “Energizing Breakfasts” section which contains quick and easy smoothie recipes full of superfoods; the book also contains wonderful recipes such as Spring Pesto Drizzle, which is packed with healthy greens.

Summer is definitely here and our house is the place to be. The neighborhood boys congregate on our trampoline –with the sprinklers aimed at it for a good cool down and a great deal of healthy fun.

My boys and I love eating this sauce over fish and chicken. It’s also great on top of salads. Now that we’re settled back in after a wild weekend that took us straight from Blogher into Yom Kippur, I will be making this to serve with our dinner tonight. Baseball is what it’s all about in our house these days. We lost in the main bracket of the post-season tournament and are now playing in the consolation round and doing well.
