Dark chocolate, milk chocolate and white chocolate, all in one gluten free chocolate chip cookie.
I can assure you, this is not a Paleo cookie. It is not even a Primal cookie. It is a special occasion cookie –a wonderful treat to serve at a gluten free Super Bowl party. It also makes a great holiday cookie (think gluten free Valentine’s Day dessert). Lately, everyone who has been over to our house –gluten free or not –has been gorging themselves on ... read more →

These healthy and simple energy bars are packed with energy.
Apricot Power Bars are a great grab and go breakfast or the perfect pick me up on the way home from the gym. Kid-friendly (with white chocolate) and Paleo-friendly (with dark chocolate, or no chocolate at all) I’ve made these gluten free bars each and every way.
I used white chocolate chips from my local Whole Foods when I made these for the boys. The chips come in a little unmarked ... read more →

Happy Birthday Dad! These gluten free cupcake bites are all the rage right now, very popular. And since you’re celebrating a big birthday, I thought I would make up a batch in your honor. With love, here are some delicious, mostly healthy, gluten free cupcake bites for you!

Looking for a quick and easy gluten free chocolate cake? This one is so simple that you can make it one pot and it doesn’t need a drop of frosting. I’m hooked on this thick, fudgey, yet cakey treat. I made it a couple of weeks ago during our Super Bowl party and it was gobbled up in mere minutes by our boisterous gang of guests.

Once again, it’s all Joy the Baker’s fault. This scone obsession of mine. When I saw those cute little hand cut squares of Orange Chocolate Buttermilk Scones on her blog, joythebaker.com, I knew I had to make them mine. And I did. And then some.
So, here’s the latest in my scone series, gluten free Cranberry Orange Scones. As you can see, there is a strange “orangeness” on the top of my scones. That’s because I had a little extra zest ... read more →

All of you regular readers know that I have an obsession with making healthy (ok, “healthier”) gluten free cake pops. Well, this obsession continues for Valentine’s Day.
I spent an afternoon in my kitchen last week in total chocolate chaos. I even tweeted about it (if you’re not involved in the party that’s over on twitter you may want to join, I’m there several times daily, tweeting away). On twitter I stated, or shall I say, tweeted, “my kitchen is covered ... read more →

My favorite part of Super Bowl Sunday is the food. I love preparing healthy gluten free Super Bowl snacks for my boys and all of their friends.
I would love to say that the cute little gluten free cake pops above were assembled by my children. However, I made them, and as you can see my cake and candy decorating skills are on par with those of a 10 year old. Or maybe a 6 year old. In any event, when ... read more →

These gluten-free, egg-free, white chocolate chip cookies are a great dessert for the kids!
My younger son E, did the drawing above. He has been very into his art lately, creating a series (crayon on paper) of skateboarders doing tough jumps.
Yesterday he asked me if he could have his own flickr account (as all cool budding artists do). I thought that was a bit precocious for age seven and told him I would post his art on my flickr account. ... read more →
