Here’s some gluten free Valentine’s Day desserts and treats for y’all.

I’m not a big Valentine’s day person, more of the practical type, so I don’t have a lot to say about, well, you know.  What I can tell you is that you might fall in love with one of the desserts below.  These gluten free recipes are made with wonderfully satisfying ingredients such as anti-oxidant rich dark chocolate, high protein almond flour and fiber rich coconut flour.  There really is something for everyone here, even if you are on a restricted diet.

So, go ahead, don’t be shy, enjoy the day and make yourself one of the delights below.

I had been really getting into the V-day festivities when the boys were younger.  We made loads of homemade cards and treats back then.  Now though, they’re getting big (one is almost 11 and the other is already 12), so Valentine’s day isn’t really on their radar these days.  We’re more into football, baseball, skiing, hiking and books on sports by Mike Lupica.  Still, we love to bake together so this weekend, we’ll be making more Heart Cake Pops for the boys and all of their friends, and my husband, of course!

How do you celebrate Valentine’s Day?  Do you celebrate it at all?  Or is it a Hallmark holiday to you?  What are your plans for this weekend and Monday, February 14th?
