Easy Veggie Snack

easy veggie snack kids carrots cucumbers yellow peppers
Liberté, Egalité, Crudité

This kid friendly snack is as healthy as it gets. Just don’t tell your children it’s also Paleo/primal fare.

It’s a vegetable revolution! They’re back. Vegetables, that is. They never really left, actually. Sometimes we just forget about them. This quick and easy veggie snack recipe takes about 10 minutes to make. The boys will eat them the moment they walk in the door from school. That bowl is usually empty by dinner.

This is exactly the trick I used as well, though I added the request that no one touch them before dinner. This proved irresistible, and all three kids have grown up loving vegetables.

  2. Sue-So great to see you over here. Yes, the reverse psychology thing works well! It was nice to go for a walk with you last week. xo Elana

I am confused how this can be a diet for candida when you are serving carrots?

Thanks for all of the great ideas! Gluten free dairy free food on the go for busy children is a challenge! Do you have any suggestions for a dinner type snack that they can eat on the run, will give them energy for their sport activities and tie them over until a late dinner?
